    twisted

I have a 1998 trans am covertible ws6 ls1 6 speed. This car has 38,000 miles on it. I drive it hard when i drive it. It is twisted if you look at the back of the car the driver side sits 2" higher than the passenger and it had weld on frame connectors (tube) So I cut the connectors back off took it to a frame shop and had it pulled back it was perfect. Now i checked the connectors they was not bent at all. I welded them back on. The car was fine for about 1000 miles and it lookes the same as it did TWISTED. Also the fucken thing is all over the road after 50 mph and up. What can i do. Please help me I love this car and cant even drive it. Note I dont have and big mods just little things. Thanks chad

The SFCs you put back on are twisted themselves. You are going to have to take them back off and trash them. Then get the frame straightened out again and put NEW SFCs back on it. I had the same problem with my 2000 vert.

That sucks they looked ok. But i will go and get new. Did that make your car handle like shit?? The ass of the car is all over the road the faster you go the worst it gets. It almost looks like the rearend shifted over to the driverside a little.. Mabe it just looks like that becouse of the car being twisted. The panhard is'nt bent.

My rear was fine, but the front end couldn't hold an alignment until I put new SFCs on.

Is there any other things that i could make or buy to tight'n up this car??? Like a cross brace? make a big x from front of door to rear of door on other side. just a though. Last time that i had the frame pulled back i did do an alignment it still seemed loose. And i had inspected all the parts on the suspension. remember this is a convertable

Do you have any aftermarket suspension on the car currently other than the SFCs?

Also, what SFCs have you been using, the BMR tubulars?

No aftermarket parts. And the sfc was on the car when i had got it. there goldish in color, bolted on to the trailing arm (rear) 2 bolts on each side by the driveshaft and welded the rest. If that helps
