Did you do the transmission mount relocated?

Do you have pics of the work done?

I'm not sure what could be causing the additional noise, as these relocation kits do make it quite a bit noisier.

Here's a link for manual setup:

I know poly bushing make transmit more noise, but you could try swapping back out to see if that eliminates it (just the TA one). Hopefully someone will chime in with a better idea than mine.

KM i think you might have misread, if I understand the OP correctly he did motor mounts and tranny mounts not torque arm.

OP If your new motor and tranny mounts are installed correctly (I'm sure they are) then I'd say the bang and slack you feel uppon accel and decel are almost guaranteed to be the torque arm, most likely the front bushing but do go and check the back where the bolts go through for any oblong wear marks or damage to the torque arm itself, this is where mine decided to fail.

I would personally either get a relocation bracket to get the torque arm off the transmission (and a new bushing) or get a tunnel mount/crossmember mount torque arm.

I was just double checking if he relocated the transmission mount, which can also relocate the TA. I'm wasn't sure if it was still in the stock location. Hard to diagnose these without being there.

+1 for your suggestion! Could be a possible culprit as well, got to love the stamped suspension! It should all be looked over, as the solid mounts could have a been the straw that broke the camels back.
