    99 camaro

    those running qa1s

    im looking to purchase qa1's and i just recently read that they are "bouncy" on the street. how would you rate the ride compared to stock suspension? and what is your setup that your running? my car will be daily driven and will see the track.

    Are you looking at adjustable QA1's. If so the single adjustments have 10 or 12 settings (i can't remember) so if they're too bouncy you'd just crank em up. Performance shocks are usually stiffer than OEM.

    how do you think they compare on the street compared to stock? and which springs are you running?

    If you go to soft, you will bottom out the nose of the car, but you can select the ride you want. I like them. I have the 275 lb coils, but my car is lighter in the front.

    are you running qa1 springs or stock springs in the rear?

    Stock springs in the rear, with the drag bar ( anti roll bar ).

    QA1's here. Single adjustables, "R" series up front. They were bouncy on the street a lil at first but I don't notice anymore. They did drop my 60 ft about a tenth if I remember correctly. I have the 300lb springs up front and stock springs out back.
