Are there any good options for coilovers?
What are some options if any for a 2000 F-body for coilovers and what is the best brand to go with? Thanks.

triple-black- 2000 CamaroSS convertible
there was a nice thread by Mitchntx about this... and how one was able to get true coil-overs for the fraction of the price.
Best bet is to PM him or send him an email.Eugenio_SS
almost stock triple-black 2000 SS convertible with 17x11s on all 4 w/ 315s at the track or on the street with 18x10.5s on all 4 w/ 315s: (1), (2)

I can't say what all the options are but I have a Ground Control kit that works just fine, I believe it's $400-450 with the springs, adjustable perches, etc. And you get to pick your spring rates too . If you just want to lower the car and fiddle with the ride height to perfect the stance, it's pretty cost-effective to go with coilovers over lowering springs.
If you're looking to go further and really upgrade the handling, you can match the GC's up with Koni SA's all around for something like $700 (?) and of course lowering will require adj PHB for $200-$300. It would be silly not to upgrade the swaybars if you already haven't, that's another $300-400. Maybe upgrade the bushings while you're at it (bushings are cheap, installing them is expensive like a mofo). I did all this and ended up with a balanced, streetable, razor-sharp suspension setup for <$2500 including a hefty fee to have the bushings put in (in retrospect, I could have saved $500 by skipping the bushings and installing everything myself).
Oh yeah I got it all from Sam Strano, I give him rave reviews.

Try LG as he has experience with his past Camaro race car and can help with the correct spring rates etc.
