    suspension guru ?

what affect would boxing the upper panhard bar have on traction ? drag race scenerio specifically...i boxed mine sometime ago and it definitely stiffened the rearend up, but i think it's affecting my launch in a negative way...thanx

you mean the very upper panhard brace? i can't see how this thing helps. but seeing as you say you felt a difference, i don't see why it would hurt launching. it would further keep the rear from moving side to side.

that would be a plus having more weight over the rear.

transfer would be a moot point. transfer from front to rear, it might help with balancing it left/right.

transfer tends to bias toward the right rear, with the boxed panhard bar it may be tryin to even it out but not sure if the extra effort to keep it level is bein wasted....make sense ?

Adding weight is not good, over the rear or not.

2 lbs won't make a difference. and if adding weight isn't good over the rear, then why do all of your race cars move your battery to the truck? last i was told it was to get weight off the front and add it to the rear. front comes up, rear stays down.
