    Suspension

hey guys im looking to replace the suspension on all four corners of the car, also looking into stiffening up the car with sfc's and shock tower braces you know the whole nine yards. i figured i would replace all this stuff because the car is a 99 and it has 123k miles on it, and the suspension has never been touched. any suggestions on what i should put on the car, and also a round about estimated price? thanks guys.

It depends what you want to gear the car towards, corners or drag racing.

    What's your budget?

torque arm, subframe connectors, springs/shocks ...... torque arm can be around 300-350 if u have long tubes, SFC's are guna run anywhere from 150-300, springs and shocks can be upwards of 600-700 for the set

The Best place to start and the part that will make the single biggest difference in how the car feels and reacts are quality Dampers (Shocks). I would reccomend Koni SA's but Strano Spec Bilstiens will work if your on a Budget.

What about upper and lower control arms, oh and I know that I have to change the bushings...haven't changed them since the car was bought in 01.

There were some koni sa for sale on tech for 550. You will be able to feel a nice difference in cornering with sway bars. Lca relocation brackets help with launches etc, etc.

The thing with buying used, or even brand new never used 3rd party Koni's is that the warranty is non transferable. For 550, thats a good deal. My vote for first suspension mods are..

SFC - pick your brand name. I have Hotchkiss
    Springs/shocks (Koni's, QA1's)
Adjustable TQ Arm - I have BMR, but the UMI piece looks nice
Lower control arms (out back, off rear)
Tq Arm relocation kit, to take it off the tail shaft
Aftermarket sways bars. For the track, a thicker/stiffer rear sway bar helps. I went BMR, but UMI is a great piece
LCA relocation brackets, a must for lowered cars or if your getting wheel hop

    That should get you started

If you cruise over to my site you'll find some things that would help. For instance I do what I call CSP kits, or Chassis Stiffening Packages that have both STB's and SFC's of various types included at a discount for buying both. I also have TP kits which stands for Traction Packages, and with various parts at a discount vs. buying them ala carte.

Also, I can help you with the rest. I sell most of the shock brands--more than any other one company I can think of. And I'd be happy to talk about the various parts, how they relate to your use, and frankly whether or not you need or want specific things.
