the more points the stronger the part and weld on is stronger then bolt one.. i feel that bolt on has to much abillty to slid and flex.. i also perfer weld on because im certified welder.. mig that is im pretty good at it if i do say myself .. just so hapens that im ASE as well..

are 3 pts the most pts on subframes for these cars

I think there are a few 4 point ones, but the UMI 3 point tuck rather rice under the car and best of all your dont have to re rout or re locate a single thing.
