    Steering Shaft Replacement

I have a small question. I removed my steering shaft knuckle during LT installation, now having alot of problems getting everything to go back together properly. When removed I locked the steering wheel so that nothing could move. During re-installation I reinstalled knuckle with out bolts rotated shaft so that i could get to the bolts to install & steering wheel locks up.
    What have i done wrong?

Real stupid question... but did you turn the ignition key to "run" to unlock your column? Other than that, the column should not lock up for any reason that I am aware of.

I just put QTP LTs on my car....what a pain. Not the installation, but the steering. I had to grind down one of the edges of the knuckle on the steering linkage to get it to clear the header. But with your question, i agreee with what was said. if you have the linkage off and the wheel won't turn then the key is in the locked position.
