    steering off center

Any thoughts on what this could be? My f-bod is pretty much a garage queen these days. I recently moved and when I backed it out of the garage and to the street, going down the curb at an angle I clunked something underneath on the front suspension. I think the tires were low and I didn't realize it, plus my T/A is lowered 1-1 1/2 " already.

The car drove fine and there were no noises while driving, the only problem appears to be the steering center is off. When I'm going straight, the wheel is a little less than a 1/4 turn to the right.

Just waaaayyyy out of alignment a possibility?

yea you can adjust it underneath, mine did that for a while but it never bothered me - then i got new tires and got an alignment at the same time and it was back on center when i got it back.

I know you don't need to do an actual alignment, you can adjust it underneath and just play with it until it is right.

Thanks for the info. I'll get under there the next weekend we have where it's not freezing out and give it a look.

Since you "Clunked" something underneath. I would recommend taking it in to get an alignment. More than likely it got thrown off by whatever you hit or ran over.

+1, I would get an alignment first.

When you get the wheel alignment done, a good shop will make sure that your steering wheel is recentered.

You need to get an alignment, whatever you hit has thrown your "toe" angle off at least, the camber and caster may also be off... This is also going to wear your tires out real quick if not taken care of fast enough. I would not "play" with anything underneath. Just take it to a shop and have them align it.
