    stock or hotchkiss i have a stock one from an ss i believe(at least thats what the guy who sold it 2 me said)? will a hotckiss one make any difference

    I'm gonna agree with the second part. One is as good as another. I have read numerous posts over the years where someone stated that they couldn't get theirs to line up. The cure was always to jack the cars up in the center to spread the front end and then install it. Conclusion here is that something must be going on to cause some sag on the front end. Maybe just rode hard and put away wet once too often.

    They are nice to lean on as you change spark plugs. I've had both the standard looking one piece and the hotchkis. The hotchkis was easier to install without any of the fitment issues as the others.

    my guess is the one you have is an SLP STB post up a pick... but again I wouldn't trade one out for the other although I did spend $$ buying the BMRExtreme STB heaviest on the market...

    the one that is on there is probably fine, I put one on my Vert SS and noticed a HUGE difference. One of my best mods.
