    Squeaking & creeking suspension

My 99 WS6 developed some horrible sweaks and creeking noises over the past few weeks. I've sprayed everything I can see underneath with silicone spray, but this has done nothing. It sounds so bad I don't even want to drive it right now. Anyone come accross this?? I was thinking i might have to undo the sway bar mounts and try to get the spray inside the bushing. I just can't believe how bad it is. Any tips?? If I push down on any corner of the car it makes the noise..

    Ben Stiller movie.

is it lowered? your shocks might be dead if they are stock on lowering springs-mine were like that.

No its not lowered, but I was really hoping it wasn't the shocks. Car only has 50,000 miles.

I wonder if it's anything like what my car is doing. I have a noise from the driver's front that creaks with any vertical movement or side to side weight shift. even so much as a full extension of the door.

You need to lube the swaybar bushings..... 99.997% that's your issue. The rubber gets hard with age and you get creaks exactly when/how you describe.

Yes you are correct. I have been spraying the outside like crazy with silicone spray, but it obviously was not getting to the area that needed to be lubed. I removed the lower clamps and took the sway bar bushings off and greased them up. Voila, no more noises.. Gonna do the front tomorrrow. I've owned 4 F-bodys, never had this issue, I should have taken the time before I posted it lol..

    Thanks!

I was going to do so today because it happens in the rear about once a year. But when I had the car lifted just now and supported by the subframe. As I was under there, I started pressing the control arm/brake assembly up and down it's coming from somewhere in the lower control arm. Can the bushings in there be greased or should I just replace them?
