black- '99 TA convertible
be so kind as to help me!
Hi all around,
In the place I live, here is exclusively 2(!) IV gen TA. I’m one of the two… lucky bastard. So your guidance about mods I must done, is my only chance to make a propert decision.
I have 99 TA A4 convertible. First thing I want to set in order is
I purchase Bilstein HD shocks, and I’m looking for corresponding springs (front&rear). I don’t want to lower the car. Please suggest, which producer and type springs I must order ?... perhaps new stock GM springs ???
Another question … I need new rear end, at the moment it is annoying rattle and kicks there. I had read over forum and realize, that I must swap it to Moser 12bolt.
Im not sure about splines and gears ? Car is mostly city driven.
…I already order SFC.
What else must be done?
be so kind as to help me!
p.s. sorry about my crazy english.

Pewter- 2000 Camaro SS
First of all, this is not me talking, this is someone with extensive experience giving advice which I am passing on to you.
The GM springs are just fine. As far as the rear end, you are correct, the Moser 12 bolt is the way to go. There are several dealers online to order from. There are other posts concerning the SFC's. There is also a post up top on the Suspension and Handling forum concerned with making a quick car. Good luck and safe racing.John

I have a Strange 12 bolt on order from BillingsleyRacing.com. I would suggest looking at their site also for a rear. Excellent prices.
