    Side winder

I was wondering if anyone ever experienced there ride going sideways real hard under hard excelleration and being Almost forced into the next lane when hitting bumps in the road at higways speeds? The inner and outer tierods were replaced maybe 6 months ago

My ass end would come loose all the time before upgrading the suspension. After installing lower control arms, a panhard bar, and a torque arm (coupled with new Nitto 555r drag radials), it went away completely. Likely the lower control arms helped the most as they are responsible for the front to back movement of the rear end.

In the case of your vehicle hitting bumps and jolting left or right, that sounds like a loose pan hard bar. The bolt hole ovals out over time causing it to loosen. Might want to check that out, especially if it's still stock. That's going on 18 years old.

The stock suspension pieces on these cars are pretty flimsy. Any upgrades out back will help plant whatever your tires can put to the road.

I had certain tires that made it worse. If you have different brand tires on the car it can make a difference, especially left to right. Wider tires also tend to follow the ruts in the road. Also as others said worn suspension parts can cause it also. Check on all the bushings front and rear.

This will probably be the year our car gets new sneakers. Still interested in the M/T Street Comps at this point.
