shocks and coils

I'm thinking of buying a new set of coils and shocks. i dont have too much money to spend. are the monroe ones from sears any good. or should i stick with kyb?and for coils im thinkin of ebaichs. just remember i dont have too much money. thanks

Do yourself a favor...talk to Sam Strano about what you want from your car and how much you want to spend. Are you doing the labor, or are you going to have a shop do it?
Shocks will give you the most bang for the buck, especially if you have a lot of miles on OEM shocks. If you are paying someone to do the work, do the springs and shocks at the same time. Dont scrimp and buy cheap shocks. The labor to change them is high. If you are on a budget, do the rest of your suspension in stages. HTH
BTW, I am running stock springs and Koni SAs and hose mod,urethane HD Panhard, and boxed LCAs.

are your shocks messed up? if you're on a limited budget-the best thing to do is just wait until you have money that you can blow on goodies. Otherwise you'll jerry-rig it and will not enjoy the car as you'd wish
