SFC chromemoly2 point vs. 3 point
Talk about information overload. Choices out the yin yang.
I've pretty much narrowed my choices down to getting either:
Spohn chromemoly 2 point SFC's or UMI's 3 point tubular.
I wanted boxed for strength but I also don't want to be able to see it when i'm walking up to the car.
Which of these would make for the strongest subframe setup?Firebird Junkie

Red- 1998 Camaro SS
My 2cents. I'd say the 3 point is the strongest. Connecting the 2 sides together well make it stronger, plus it will distribute the loads on the SFC to more surface area on the car, also making it stronger. For a tubed chassis the cross bars are there to strengthen the chassis and allow no flexing. The same principles apply here as well.
I have the SLP SFC being black they are hard to see when walking up to the car.1998 Camaro SS Hard Coupe Bright Red #1593

I have UMI's 3 point installed on my car and I love them. Car is much tighter now and stiffer ride. Never used 2 point one's before so sorry no opinion on those. Hope this helps.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
you have a trans am, you wont' see them at all since the car has ground effects.
I have 2 pt SFCs from hotpart.com-they really made a difference. haven't felt a car with 3 pt yet. But the 2 pts make me happy-nice and straight driving and lauching is much smoother now [m6]
