    S&W sub frame connectors

I'm planning on buying a full suspension from S&W race cars. They are only about 45min. from me so I figure it's cheaper paying sales tax than shipping. Just wondering if anyone has any of their products?

I like their sfc's design . It conects both sides together and remounts their torque arm on it. Check out their site www.swracecars.com

    What exactly did you order?

If you ordered SFC 's, did you go with weld-in, bolt-on, box, tube etc?

If you ordered shocks, struts, lowering springs etc. again which ones did you buy?

I got bolt in sfc's and they have a crossmember that ties both sides together and remounts your torque arm on it, I also purchased lca's,phr,QA1 shocks for up front and drag springs. Hopefully everything is nice.

It sounds like it's gonna be.

I really want the SFC setup you ordered, but I plan to lower this car at least 1.5 inches and I'm afraid ground clearance will become an issue.

Hey, do me a favor and post pics when you're done would you? Thanks.

I got to get a digital camera or have a buddy do it for me if you wanna see pics. I don't think ground clearance will be too much of an issue with what they got. Not 100% sure though. I'll try to let you know.

those QA1s will do you good.. seen nothing but good things from them at the track (not on my car sadly) are the SFCs like the SLP ones?

No, I guess you could say they are more like a BMR or spohn tubular style but they include a crossbrace to tie both sides together. Then their adjustable torque arm mounts on it.

Just picked up the suspenion parts yesterday. To me it all looks very nice. I know that doesn't mean anything but once I get a digital camera I'll post pictures up. So far the parts look to be worth the money. Once my rear comes I'll get to work on everything else.

Also I took these, they aren't the best pictures but you'll get the point. Torque Arm, Panhard, and the Lca's.

That style SFC will give excellent ground clearance.

Yeah it should, but my current y-pipe is not gonna work. So I think I'm gonna sell my ory and my cat-back. Probably have something else made up for it. I have the whole exhuast sitting the way it needs to be to sit natural and it will just take to much heating and bending to make it work.

I don't think that will work. The sfc's have a built in bracket for a driveshaft loop that they sent with the sfc's. The ory is going to hit that and the crossmember, and it's not where the Y is straight, it's right where it is straight after it bends around from the drivers side to the tranny. It's a Pacesetter ory. My dad and I both looked at it and we are both auto technicians and pretty much figure theres no way to fudge the exhaust around it. I mean if we really , really tried then maybe, but the exhuast will just look like some redneck hack job. I take too much pride in my car and work to let it look like shit.

I think it will fit. This is the one I have and it has less clearance than that one. I fit a 3" pipe and dual 2.5". I may be wrong and not see something you do. I would at least customize a y-pipe rather than rip the whole exhaust off.

The crossmember on mine looks like it crosses straight across but if you look close enough there is a slight bend in it. I may be able to get the y to fit but we took a quick look at it, nothing to indepth. But it just looks like it might be too much of a hassle to make work. I think I'm gonna drop the exhuast, and get sfc's all bolted in and go from there. If it is managable then, great, if not , it's no big dissappointment too me. I want true duals anyways. Hoping to do an x pipe setup with two SLP loudmouth 1 bullets. Should be just as loud as my loudmouth setup I have now. Hoping for it too be louder though.

Hell Yeah! Go with true duals! I fit two, 2.5" pipes and the driveshaft in with the DSL.
