Mine never went back on after the motor swap.
Hard to notice much different though....since I got all kinds of suspension stuff done at the same time.

Because I don't have a drag car.
I have been told I have pulled a wheel. No proof though.

so what exactly is the point of the front SB. i heard for drag situations its fine but that your cornering stability suffers

the point of having a swaybar is to limit the upward/downward travel of the car when cornering.

so then you do lose the ability to corner/plant well while cornering and accelerating

you don't lose it completely. when cornering, the side of the car that's on the inside of the turn lifts up more. this is unloading the front and can cause understeer. it's not a huge amount during day to day driving. you get into high speeds sharp cornering, you'll know it isn't there. just hone your driving skills accordingly.

ok thanks mrr you know your shit. i think i am going to wait until i install my sfcs..since i'm sure one side of the car lifting up especially during cornering will twist the frame even more.

Sway bar removal is pretty simple and straight forward. Remove the end links and drop 4 bolts on the bushings and its out. Theres a good walkthru on LS1howto.com
I've seen 32mm and 35mm bars for the front. Im running a Spohn front sway bar 32mm solid with poly bushings and end links. Nice improvement over the stock 30mm hollow that was in it. Poly stuff makes it feel more responsive as well.

Ive had mine off for a while and don't miss it one bit. Granted I have full drag suspension and the swaybar is the least of my worries at this point. If anything you could take it off and if you hate it, just put it back on. It's not that hard to work with.

no front swaybar = rear-end fishtailing like a MOFO when cornering.
