    Relocation brackets.

Hey guys I need some help here.
I'm gonna start buying suspension parts.
I want to buy relocation bracketes.
Are they really worth it? What are the benefits?

I'm gonna lower the car soon. If that matters.

    I'll be buying.
    Panhard bar
    And lower control arms.

    Thanks for the help.

definately matters that the car will be lowered, be sure to get everything adjustable BECAUSE of that.

I had to get adj lca's after I lowered the car w/ 18's (have since ditched those). Relocation brackets alone sent me from 13.1 to 12.7. Your results may vary.

I'd put a panhard relocation on it as well. It allows you to make the panhard bar horizontal with the car which in turn makes the suspension travel left to right equally. The suspension will bind less and the car will hook up better. Most people over look this mod. Let me know if you wanna see a pic

if you have a pic can you post it pls..

right now im gonna get the relo brackets,
next ill be getting the adj panhard bar.
after that then i get the lower control arms, and the 2 point subframe connectors.

when i drive the car feels kinda funny.. like the suspension is loose but i guess cuz is all stock and i was used to my Z that was lowered.. had konis and eibachs,,

when i do burnouts on ss the whole rear end of the car just shakes real bad.. i think thats what is called wheel hop right?

subframe connectors should always be your first mod

if you have the money go three point, cant stress enough how valuable SFCs are... they wont get in the way of exhaust mods or whatever else like certain torque arms will

i could be wrong but i heard 3 point sfc are not recommended for a DD,
thats why i had in mind 2 point sfc, but i want 3 point sfc, since they look better and im sure they do a better job..
but if i have the $$ at that moment i will get the 3 point sfc

I have 2 points, which are great, because I know I'm not going to make my car a 400rwhp+ street brawler with 300+ size tires, but if I ever wanted to in the future I would go three points without a doubt..

3-points are great, they in no way adversely affect your car. Wheel hop kills our rear's just as much as traction does. I would suggest the adj torque arm first if you want to hook and eliminate wheel hop. When I bottomed out on bumps the 18's grabbed the inner fender, the adj really can't be neglected if you have a big rim and tire.

I understand you are probably going for a wider tire for looks, but I have seen 265's that hook harder than most 315's do.

In the future I'm planning on getting a 383 or 4xx stroker. So that's gonna be more than 400hp
I want to do everything right.
If the 3 point are recommend for 400hp or more. I should get the 3 point sfc.

On the torque arm. I'm not sure yet. I'm planning on getting a ford rear end. And for what I knw if I do that the torque arm has to be taken off.
Correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Right now I have 295s but I want the 315s just for looks.
I could be wrong but I actually think is not good for the rear end having a wide tire. Like 315s for example.

More rotational mass is never better. The ford rear has to have the spring perches and shock mounts moved to fit our cars, I am pretty sure that will hold true for the torque arm.

yeah with that much power and rubber you can kiss your stock 10 bolt goodbye with one clutch drop...
