    rear end rocks like boat

Newbie here. I posted this somewhere else accidentally from my retarded phone. But I just purchased a 2002 ws6 and I believe it has been set up for track. When I go around long swooping curves at high speeds or accelerating the rear end rocks like a boat. Do I need new shocks or a swaybar. Any ideas will help

Do you mean it kind of jiggles like the suspension is worn out? Check your panhard bar + control arm bushings then check the control arm bolt torques

No I mean it hops back and forth in a circular boat rocking motion. Not rattling or shaking. More like hopping

i figured it out, the sway bar only had one bushing i will get a new set in tomarrow and put them on. Also bought new linkage for the sway bar. hopefully that IS the problem.

I know you diagnosed it already, but for future reference, the panhard controls the left to right movement of the rearend, the control arms(LCAs) control the front to back movement of the rearend and the torque arm controls the up and down angle of the rearend. Glad you got it figured out though, easy fix too

Thank you for the info I believe there might be some other problems too. The passenger rear tire wobbles first I am going to go get the rim checked out. I also noticed that wheel is inset more than the driver side.

Alright I put a bushing on last night and nothing matched part stores. Are nazis. I need to just order a new one with complete set but can not afford both front and rear this week should I just drive like this til I can get matching set or can I get rear for now and front later. Also what is stock axle tube size for 02 ws6.
