    Rear End Q/A

Hey Guys my name is Brandon I am new to the forum, nice to meet everybody. I own two f-bodys I have a 1997 3.8 5 speed car, and a 2000 SS 6 speed car. My SS was recently involved in an accident Rain, Bad Tires, and some jerk swerving at me. But any ways he drove off and it was concidered my fault. I did not have full coverage on my car, so I get to pay to fix everything out of my pocket oh joy. But I had a buddy tell me that the Rear End out of my V6 car was the same Rear end that was in my SS it just had different gearing, Is this True? Any resposes are highly appreciated. Thanks.

It is the same rear, but I dont know about the differential and the gearing. What is wrong with the rear. The axles will be different because of a different ABS setup, but you can change the axles and ABS setup over if there not screwed up.
