Rear Control Arm
I have been informed by the dealership the the bushings in my rear control arms need to be replaced. I need some input on what brand to go with...I don't need the adjustable ones...as I don't race the car. But is there a difference between the poly bushings and the rubber/poly bushings? A difference between the Boxed style and the Tubular style? I really don't want to spend a whole lot on these and I plan to install them myself, looks fairly simple. Thanks

the least expensive ones are the lakewood. it's really simple to do. do one side at the time. it will prevent the rear from rotating. boxed is stronger than tubular in terms of flexing IMO. i use the bmr boxed on the wife's car. the boxing is larger than the bushing itself.

Rear control arm
Change over to Hotchkis Rear Control arms. They come with Polyurethane bushings with grease fittings & this will practically eliminate any wheel hop. You might as well get Hotchkis Pan Hard Rod as well. This also comes with Polyurethane bushings with grease fittings.
