painting sfc
i was ready were slp says i need to paint my sfc weld-on..do they really need to be painted..and if so..could i just get some spray paint or something

They should be painted to prevent rust. Sand them down, use a good primer and spray paint them. A good undercoating spray may be a better option. All the SFC's I have seen are steel and not aluminum, so they do rust.

i had mine undercoated, some of it wore off somehow, but i think its the better bet, because mine came painted so i have two layers of protection
