Red Eibach's are Sportlines, and they are the looks spring. Hang on to your hat here, because I rarely say that Koni's aren't right, but here they aren't with those springs. Note it's not because the Koni's can't deal, it's because you'd be wasting a lot of the good in the shock on those springs. Change springs and I'll tell you Koni's are the choice. Here though, I'd recommend AGX's @ $409 a set.

I hope I'm being clear. It's kind of like putting a super sticky drag tire on a car that can't spin the tires anyway. Or a great cam on with a lousy set of heads. The springs you have, I'm sorry to say, are pretty damned poor for anything but looking good.

so are the springs i have at least as good as the stock ones i have??? i love how the car handles as it is but i would just like to see the wheel gap closed a bit....so if i put these springs on and it will still perform as it does now then im happy.this is just a daily driver car.and i got them for dirt cheap so im not really out anything.only paid 100 bucks for them.

I don't feel they are as good. They are too low, and too soft for the amount of drop. You'll find folks who rave about them, then again you see guys drive around slammed Honda's that are so low and stiff you can see the headlights jittering around @ night, and they also think they are great. What's good is largely a matter of perspective.

I'm not a fan of riding around on the bumstops. The car is lower and will roll less because you basically turn it into a go-kart. I think suspensions should work and move. We don't run springs as low, and actually a bit stiffer, and use shocks to control the rate of the movement.

I'd rather drive a bone stock car on a good set of shocks like Koni's over any car lowered too far with poor spring rates such as Sportlines, even if it had good shocks like Koni's too.

    triple-black
    2000 CamaroSS convertible

has sportlines, ruined my koni da (got them replaced)
got prokits after that.. and much better
sportlines suck because they offer almost no suspension travel, and to make things worse, they are soft, forcing you to chose between bottoming out or overdamping them... either way, it's a bad choice.
