Need springs help
Just put 18x9.5 corvette replicas on 00 TA and it looks and feels like like a 4x4. What type of springs and where to get them.

Sorry we were all in the aag section reading eliminators thread
There are eibach's they have two kits one being 2" and the other close to 1.5", after years they are known to sag in the rear just so you know.
BMR has copied strano's design but uses a cheaper material
Strano springs are 1.2" drop in front, and 1.3" in the back
DMS is no longer made but they were a real popular spring dropping the car about 1.5", I installed these on a guys black z28 with 18" c5z06's and it looked sweet.
Strano is what I have and although not the lowest it does make the car look more at home on aftermarket wheels, this is my car w/ 18" zr-1's on a 45 profile to give you an idea.
There are others out there that I have forgotten, and if you want to focus on improving handling strano's are a good place to start although you should get shocks to compliment the spring. If you just want a drop and keep the decarbons then you could cross strano's off the list.
stranoparts .com is where you will find the strano springs
for others you can go to the sites sponsors for your spring needs

Granatelli makes a decent spring.

BMR (I don't necessarily agree that they are "cheaper" material)
Strano
Granatelli's DMS springs
All give a good streetable drop, all good quality and good spring rates

Springs determine ride height, we don't have magnetic suspension to adjust as we please. You can swap shocks to match the springs you decide on.

I've never heard anybody say that they were going to lower their car because the ride was too rough. Usually they lower the car, then complain about the ride

I have the BMR strano copies with kyb agx's and my car rides almost the same as my friends SS we have different tire sizes I have 18" and he has 17 ans we use differnt setting to better suit the ride we want but my car rides as good as stock just gotta watch the Y pipe on huge speed bumps and steep driveways. I am more than happy with the BMR's I would have got strano's but didn't wanna wait the BMR's were ready to ship here's a couple pics with 18x8.5f and 18x10 rear with BFG nt's. I also did spohn sway bars since the car was apart the LCA's and panhard were already installed.

Axle is rusty but getting a 9" soon so I didn't bother to paint it, it's a cruiser, litte racing, backroad carver, not really meat to be a show car.
