mini tub??
I bought some 19x12 spyder wheels. I'm prepared to BFHM the hell out of the fender and I also have installed offset bushings on my LCA but, then I was thinking about mini tubing as a back up option.
I see wolf sells a kit for 140. does any one know how much a shop would charge for the install??
also does anything besides the wheel well for sure have to be modified such as phb or upper spring mounts??

I know price wise it would be somewhere around 1k on up for the cost of labor. I have heard it's very labor intensive.

Don't know what info you can find in there but it's all in the wheel offset
What is the offset on your wheels?

the offset is the stock z06 offset (+59)which is not going to help. I'm pretty sure I'll be using a spacer, I just don't know what size yet

oh yah I know.. I'm actualy looking forward to it lol. did you use a sawsall or a circular saw??
I was thinking about trying to find some kind of a cutting blade for my angle grinder if such a thing even exists..
also, did you even use spacers on your wheels? if you did what size?Last edited by xmarkx; 08-24-2010 at 07:33 PM.

No spacers and i used a cutoff wheel on my angle grinder
Sawsall might work but i don't know if you can get in there enough
And no spacers but the wheel wells had to be hammered in pretty good. If i can i'm going to find some spacers for when i put the wheels on the new WS6. I don't want to go through that much work again and i also need to find someone to roll my fenders.

i think I'm going to want to use a spacer even if I can some how get the wheels to fit without them because I have a feeling that 59 offset might leave the wheels a little sucked in.
either way I'm going to make it work because I already paid 2290 for 4 new wheels and tires!!

I got the tires delivered to my house today.... now I know how you felt when you looked at the 335's and doubted if they were going to fit. these things are fat as hell.... they're NT05's so they're not even as wide as most but they still look huge... I'm going to try and take pics of the install so I can put it in the wheels and tire section. hopefully if this works out it will give some other people the confidence to go with huge ass wheels and tires too!
