    Mild drop, stock shocks?

I was looking for a mild drop, around an inch or so. Can I get away with stock shocks front or rear? Also where is a good site to buy a spring compressor? On my old car I didnt need em. Cant seem to find one around here. What would u reccomend for springs?

    Thanks,

    Erik

    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

whoa!!!! don't fuck around with that kinda shit. take this thread to the suspension section and review some of the other peoples set ups. dropping an F-body is more thatn just springs. You'll need shocks/springs/adjustable panhard par, adjustable lowercontrol arms at the least your looking at abotu an $800+ investment. Not scaring you out of it, just telling you its more than what you think.

If your gonna lower the car you might get away with stock shocks but you will need an adjustable panhard bar to center the rear back up. Then relocation brackets to level your control arms back out. More to it that just throwing on some springs.

    dd speaks the truth.

The number one thing that should be changed on our cars (as far as suspension) is the stock Decarbon shocks esp. if you are going to the trouble of changing the springs.

Brands are wide open. Spring companies are personnel choice as with all the other supension components. I used Eibach springs, KYB AGX shocks, and Aadco suspension components. They work as good as BMR or any other company, but I got them at a good deal from work so that is what I went with. Do it right the first time that way you don't have to redo the setup later.

The AGX's are adj right? I had them on my old car and had issues with how it sat. and I think I only adjusted them twice. Seems people like em for F-bods though. And Ive learned my lesson about doin it right the first time.
