Rear's are tuffer than fronts because the mount is welded to the axle tube. For front lt1 to LS1 swap you need:
left and right ls1 spindles with or with out hubs, lt1 hubs will bolt into ls1 spindles.
left and right LS1 callipers and pads
    2 front LS1 rotors
left and right ls1 brake lines

A C5 front caliper is almost the exact same as an LS1. the only differance is the LS1 has the cooling webs cut down to fit in a 16 inch tire, were the C5 will fit in only a 17 inch wheel or higher.
I did the LS1 conversion with sloted and drilled rotors and wow what a differance over the lt1 stockers. You can get most of this stuff off E-bay or alot of parts stores sell remand ls1 callipers.
