why do I see that there is ususally two different sets of years related to springs for an LT1 car and a Ls1 car?

right off of SLP website
http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=70009
my guess is weight difference for some companies. LT1 is iron block, LS1 is aluminum, so a little lighter and they changed the spring rate slightly. SLP didn't.
