    lower control arm bushing

    ive been hearing a rattle in the right front . its been shitty around here so i finaly got a chance to take the wheel of and all looked suprising good .... EXCEPT for this .... couple of questions ... do i need to break the lower ball joint and is the spring tension going to be a problem . how hard is it to do ( change the rear lower control arm bushing )

    yes you do need to break the ball joint......with the car jacked up all the way ......there is no spring tension.......not to hard

    are they pressed in and how hard is it to get to the top of the bolt with a wrench . it looks like it can be secured from the inside ? or the fender side ? unfortunately the budget only calls for a non urethane replacement . thanks for the quick responce

    the top of the bolt is held in with a U clip type thing...you dont even have to hold it with a wrench...i bet the difference in price between polys and rubber is not so much
