Pewter Metallic- 2002 Trans Am WS6 M6 D1SC
LCAs
Ok, im gonna order UMI LCAs but should i get adjustable ones or just non-adjustable?
Also, whats the benefit of the relocation brackets for them?
Another note, what should I look for as far as new motor mounts? And should I do new trans mounts while im at it?Last edited by TempleU_WS6; 11-30-2008 at 10:43 AM.

Adjustables for sure. If you do a rear upgrade, it won't fit like the old one...
As far as motor mounts, I'm still running my stock ones... I will go with the polly ones later !

get the adj ones, as for the relocation brackets, it provides more leverage on the rear end to help eliminate wheel hop and increase traction by holding the rear end from twisting. if you plan on making more power or already do and you wanna actually put up some decent times, both of these are essential

I would get the adjustable ones just to have the rod end on one end.

Adjustable, it is better spend money once and buy something you might not need rather than having to order new parts because you didn't get them in the first place

Well, to answer your question, if you are set on getting the motor mounts done (i did), it is definitely worth it to do the transmission too. If you make the engine mounts stronger, the vibration will only be more excessive when it gets to the transmission. That's at least what I've heard, and makes perfect sense to me.
