koni's with stock springs for now?

Ok I'm gonna go ahead and bite the bullet and get koni shocks despite the cost because after doing all my homework they really are the best. Not to mention bilstein's or kyb's will wear out and i'll get tired of them and need to replace them anyway. I only want to do it once so I want to do it right. Due to cost it will take me a little longer to have the money for springs. So is it ok to do koni's on stock springs? or should I just wait and do the koni's and new springs at the same time?

Koni's and stock springs will work just fine together because Koni's have such a big range of adjustment they can deal with most any spring (stock meant to be one). As you go stiffer or shorter you firm up the damping to match.

I ran my '01 Z28 with Koni's and stock springs until I changed classes with it back in 2004--so from 9/2000 to early 2004 my own car was on stock springs and Koni's....
