Just got my SFCs Installed Today
I just got the subframe connectors installed today and I love them. I take the corners faster and it feels more settled without the rear wanting to slide out. On the highway it takes bumps better and when I sway the wheel from left to right it stays EVEN MORE flat than it used to. I'm excited about them. I read before that they did wonders but I just found out first hand. Mine happen to be the BMR weld in type and I got the black color. They barely stick out from the bottom of the car but the color helps even more so they're really practically invisible. My car seems to have more of a vette feel than ever. I guess the next thing to get is a strut tower bar huh?

I don't know what suspension mods you currently have, but I am guessing the SFC's are your first. I wouldn't waste your money/time on the STB unless you need something to lean on when you are working on the motor or want it for appearance reasons. The next suspension mods I would get would be LCA's, shocks, panhard and sway bars. Your handling will drastically improve with those mods.

i know ill probly get yelled at by the pros here but im just saying my side of the story. the strut tower bar is only a 99.00 and i actually felt the difference, front is tighter but i know its miniamal but im sure that doing a full susp. mod kit front to back will benifit with using a stb. IMO

Thanks for the advice everybody.
so you do lca's before you lower the car?
Sure Randy anytime man. I may be able to get away from you now.j/k
with the sfc's the feel of the car during cornering puts more confidence in the driver. My car was begging for them.
I'm not completely sure if I want to change my 32mm sways to the 35 and the 21's to the 25's. I almost cant imagine it driving better with bigger ones.
It feels great right now!

LCA's help a lot with wheel hop. The panhard helps to keep the rear centered, the LCA's control the front to back movement of the rearend and the torque arm controls the up/down movement of the rearend.

Any body have pics of just how low they hang. Do they become a problem if the car is lowered?

I paid $100 I trust that they were done right too! Mine don't hang at all hardly. They hang maybe 1/2-1inch under my car and I think its like 1/2. They're black and unless you already intend on your car being so low that its going to scrape then you have nothing to worry about. Mine definitely don't show up. you've actually got to look for them. I've seen the boxed ones and I hate them. You can easily see them hanging way out under the car especially when they're red.

is this true when welding the sfc in that the car should be on jackstands or a lift that lets the wheels hang down. due to the car sagging so when they are welded the car is not sagging and perfect positoion???
