Installation of Strano Sway Bars (Pics)
I finally got around to installing my sway bars about three weeks ago, and now I'm finally getting around to posting up the pics...
Here she is carrying the new parts... reminds me of that scene in Ironman...
At the "shop" waiting in line for a bay...
She definitely needs a bath after the install! Gross...
Look who else showed up... 3 fourth gens in a row... I though that was kinda cool.
The front sway bar after initial opening. Rear sway bar similar.

What kind of difference do they make in handling?

Ride is much more supple... very smooth ride quality, but nice and firm, strong cornering, by comparison to Z28 sway bars. It should be noted, that all my suspension bushings are shot, and the replacement of them may be a factor in the differences I notice (soon I will be adding Koni's out back and possibly the Strano springs, as well as replacing all my bushings).
I'll give a detailed write up in the Parts Review forum later on.

Stock front sway bar... 14 years old....
Sway bar endlinks on the front. These are pretty interesting to remove... After 14 years of being on there... the nuts and bolts don't really like to come loose. Had to use the air tools and a wobbly joint to get them off.
This bracket needed to come off... I forget why...
Rear Sway bar....
Rear endlinks all greased up with caliper grease from when I was trying to isolate my squeak (which inspired the replacement of the entire sway bar assembly).
Sway bar bushings... this passenger side one was the main culprit. The driver side was not far behind, either.

Here's the new stuff all bolted in. Incidentally, I should have taken more pics of the condition of the used parts... maybe I'll dig up the part, take some pics and post them up here.
Next, it's going to time to get rid of all this stamped/factory garbage and put some more UMI under there (K-member with A-arms and a crossbrace are the main things she needs.... not sure if I want to change the torque arm... maybe just relocate it).
All washed and clean on her test drive at Tortilla Flat....
Look who wanted to play...
It's a late model TurboS (530 Camaro-stomping horsepower)... we had some fun for about 4 or 5 miles. He really put my new suspension to the test! It was a blast.
