If you paid someone to lower your car come inside

If you paid to have your lowering springs put on how much did you pay? I've called around to a few places locally and the quotes are all over the place so I'm curious what other people have paid. LMK...thanks!

If you have a Jack and Jack Stands it'll will cost you about 2 hours of your time...probably not even that.

when i did mine it was 40 bucks a side but i think im just going to have the guy do the fronts on my 94 and do the rears myself. The fronts are kind of a bitch and you need a spring compressor. The rears are easy, about 20 minutes each.

yea unless you have a spring compressor, might not want to tackle the fronts

That's what I'm hearing I think if anything I may do the rear and then take the new front springs somewhere and have them pressed on.

yea you could always remove the front strut assemblies, and then take them in to have the new springs put on.. that would def save you some $$. Just make sure you get an alignment when everything is done.

This is a good idea, they will only charge $20 or so if they're not busy. These things can be very dangerous.
We set one off with a plasma cutter on a long pole to show some ricers what could happen, the spring shot 50 ft through the air.
