Look into BMR or Hotchkis springs, they drop it about 1.25". I run 18s and the BMR springs. I think my ride height is what you are describing. You can click my sig pic and see lots of pics of what I am describing.

I've had my Pro-kit on for about 5 years. Still love 'em. Stance looks as great as day 1. Got 17x9.5s up front and 18x10.5s in back. I did have to roll the rear fenders in just a bit, but that's it.

thats the thing with the pro-kits...a lot of times they sag in the ass..and if you measure you're height before/after, you got more then a 1.3 drop.

all be it; your car does look great though

I'm a noobie.... I have 17" x 11" with 315's in the rear and I'm looking to lower my TA a little as well. My question is... how did you roll your fenders out?? Did you have to repaint when you did this?

The shop I take my car to, rolled the fenders in just a bit.

Now, they didn't completely flatten the area that was rolled becuase this would weaken (even more so) this area of the fender, which is why the fender is (when unrolled) at a 90* angle; to give the body panel strength. You can see from the pic, at the bottom the fender is perpendicular to the fender, but then as you go up, it is almost parallel. And yes, the paint did chip a bit at the crease, as you can see, but it wasn't bad. I just used some touch up paint.

Cobrahunter, your car looks sweet! I'm getting set to drop my '97 WS6 vert with a pro-kit. Do you have many ground clearance issues since you dropped your ride?

    Not really.

the two biggest things I watch out for are

    (1) making sure I take steep driveways and BIG speed bumps at a angle

    (2) I am more careful when I pull up to a curb or parking block to make sure I don't take out my front spoiler

Occassionally I scrape the bottom of my y-pipe on various smaller speed bumps, but that's it.
