    GMHTP STI Killer question...

read through all the build articles and maybe I'm missing it but here's my question. Are they running BMR lowering springs and the BMR lowering lower A-Arms? Read through the articles and in the initial suspension mod they setup konis and those springs, but then when they installed the lowering a arms later on the go on to mention how if coupled with lowering springs it is quite a drop. So it kinda confused me as to what the front end setup was. What ever the setup was it still tucked the Weld RTS' with no rub. Sent an email to GMHTP but figured id post here too.

It's probably not a good idea on a street car, that STi killer looks slammed.

I've been following it as well, but do not recall the exact suspension set up in the car. I do remember that they are still running the 10 bolt, so counting down to the blown up rear article.

    TransAmTom,
Ya I hear ya there one of the reason I wanted to clear that up. Def too low for me if that is what they are infact running.

    PAJeff,
I saw that too, odd when they upgraded the M6 and dropped the LS6 in, then did all the other suspension and brake mods to leave the 10 bolt. Guess time will tell.

The 10 bolt is fine for roadracing as there are no hard launches,it also eats less power and is lighter.

When these things were killing everything in site in showroom stock roadcourse racing in the mid 90's the 10 bolt was not one of the cars weaknesses.
