Excessive Front Wheel Movement
While rotating the tires on my '01 WS.6 I noticed that the driver's side front wheel had some excessive side-to-side play. If I held the tire at the front and back and rocked it side-to-side, it would move 1/8" of so. If I held it at the top and bottom it had no movement. The right side was on the ground during this process. What's the most likely cause? I'm guessing a tie rod end (inner or outer) but wanted to know if that's something that tends to go bad on these cars. And if so which one?
Thanks in advance for any help.

As far as I'm aware they are non issues, they just wear like any othe rmoving part. if you think they are bad replace them both then you know they are good.

yep, tie rod end. which one, you'll have to look and see if it is moving at the spindle (outer), or if the rod is moving closer to the rack (inner)
