    Angry Eibach Springs Pro-Kit trouble...

When I purchased my 01 WS6 the previous owner installed the Eibach springs pro-kit drop springs. It looks and handles great however anytime that you hit a square edge in the road pot-hole, change in road surface, manhole cover etc. the rear axle slams and I mean SLAMS! against the rubber stops on the frame. I dont know if the stock shocks are to blame or if it is just too low and dos not have enough travel for typical street driving conditions. They advertise that the kit will only lower the car 1-1.5" and they also offer another kit "Sportline" that claims to be the lowest street ride possible at 1 3/4-2 1/4" drop. Has anyone experienced this issue or have an opinion for a possible solution?

Some people have ground down the bumpstops, others have removed them.

i have the prokit with bilstein shocks and that doesnt happen to me... if the guy changed the springs and left the stock shocks , its a good possibility that the rear shocks are dead.

i didnt shave my bumb stops either

I asked my local shop and they strongly advised new shocks such as konis be put on with the Pro Kit.
