creaking sway bars?
My car has 46k and there is a progressively worse creaking coming from the rear suspension upon compression. I am assuming its the sway bar bushings. Does that sound right / common prob??
Do aftermarket bars/poly bushings make alot of diff.? Any brand recommendations for bushings or thicker bars? No special tools for install I hope. All I have is a mallet, 9/16" , and a six pack!
Thanks for any info!

Larger aftermarket bars and poly bushings make a considerable difference on the vehicle when cornering, however the poly bushings will make much more noise than the rubber due to the regitity (sp) of the product. If you go poly, you will need to lube the "D" bushings with a high grade silicone grease.
You may want to take your rubber "D" bushings off, one at a time and apply a coat of grease to them, DO NOT GREASE THE END LINK BUSHINGS.This should stop the creaking noise you are getting.
