    Cheap handling improvement?

Whats the best way to beef up my handling without breaking the bank. Are there shocks that work well with stock springs? Id like to keep it under $400
    Any ideas?

Yes shocks are worth it and for your budject I would say Bilstien HD's.

Check with some of the venders here or ebay for pricing!

The Bilstien HD's are valved perfectly for stock springs.

When you go with an aftermarkert spring (lowering spring, coil over, etc) they need to be re-valved which makes them cost almost double (about $500)

For stock springs the absolute best set up would be front & rear KONI's & the widest tire to fit your 16" or 17" wheels. You want handling , with this set up you got it in spades & it still retains decent ride qualities

Bigger front swaybar? Strano sells a 35 mm one for 200 bucks.
