Bilstein shocks are back in stock

I have 12 sets available. Cost has gone up since last we had them. $399 a set.

I use a different rear shock as I do not like the current rear valving and prefer other valvings that I feel are better.

Just pick your year and model car and the Bilstein's will show up.

    Sam,
Which would you recommend, the Tokico's or Bilstiens. I don't race and my car is stock height. I would like a good product for spirited driving and a decent ride.

The Bilstein's are the higher quality, more durable shock. Both are meant for stock springs, and work pretty similarly to each other. I don't think either has quite enough damping even for stock springs (that's a personal opinion, I like a more crisp, more locked down feel from my stuff).

I don't know one is "better". The Tokico's cost less, the Bilstein's last longer. Now, this is all assuming you use the shocks in the way I do them (the different rears). If you were comparing HD sets that others sell, then the Tokico's are the better choice as the rear valving is better than what everyone else sells for rear Bilstein's.

Hi, I need to replace my struts. What do you recommend for my car. I have a 98 WS6 that i just purchased. I live in Vermont where every road is like a road course. Very few straightaways. I like to drive "spirited" i believe i saw above. What package will give me the best handling without making the all year long potholes and frost heaves rattle my brain loose?

    Thanks
Ford Small (yeah, i know, but with 6 TA's in the flock, i think they got the name wrong...)

Koni's are the best performance and control shock out there. You don't have to have a bone-jarring ride, as they offer better control even at lower settings than more run of the mill dampers.

Basically you have adjustability to tune the ride/handling to what you prefer most. Anything not adjustable leaves you with what you have, period. Cheap adjustables that have coarse adjustment range aren't always very useful since bad adjustments aren't a lot better than no adjustment.
