    bilstein and hypercoil

there is a package deal that comes with bilstein shocks and hypercoil springs, about 1.25 drop. I spoke to bilstein about the set up they put together but sold though someone else. they claim to have set them up for firebirds or camaros and you just need aligment with no other changes (pan hard bars...). Im not gonna spend alot of time at the track, mostly a DD. any thoughts on this set-up?

i have bilsteins/hypercoils in the front with bilsteins/hotchkis in the rear. i like it. very good for what i paid. where are you finding them? those springs were discontinued a long time ago.

i think the hypercoils are too stiff in the rear but you may like them. i had slp level 2 rear springs which are softer than the hypercoils and found even those to be too stiff. now i have hotchkis' in the rear and like it a lot.

handles very well with 35/21 swaybars and rides pretty decent too

I was told by bilstein that they were using someone else but now have hypercoil with their setup. They claim to have made this setup for firebirds. Im sure they have other setups. I got some from classic industries who have increased the price since the change but still fair. Give them your make and you get a whole catalog for that make. Ive seen slp has a setup with bilstein you can get from Kentucky speed for a cheaper price but they are using other springs and a different shock tune. The SLP may be may be better, i have no idea but I Just got my order in
Ill post some feedback next week

i like this set-up. much lower than stock but not so much as to scrape on everything. i was expecting a rough ride but no complaints.
