    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

    Another lowering combo!

After reading the sfc's threaad i started, i've come to the conclusion that i don't have enough money to lower my car and create the canyon grinder i want, SO.....tell me which of these is a way to persue [which will create the least amount of problems until next year's tax return?] all parts are roughly $950 total and will probably cost about 300-500 install

2000ws.6 with about 100K miles; original suspension.

    Option 1:
    SFC's
    adj pan hard
    lca relocators
    BMR 1" drop

    Option 2:
    adj pan hard
    lca relocators
    BMR 1" drop
    KYB AGX

    Option 3:
    SFC's
    Koni SA's

    I vote for option 3

Think you will get the best ride for your buck with SFC's and a damn good set of shocks.

What type of SFC are you considering? Single Bar or DD's? Bolt or Weld-in?

I posted pics with my SLP DD SFC's in the Subframe connectors thread, plus some web shots from UMI of their DD's. Right now mine are bolted in. I will weld them up later.

    http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13130

I see you stated stock suspension (100% stock?). Other than the Mods you posted here, what else are you planning for the future?

One other suggestion. PST makes a polygraphite set for '93- '02 F-Cars Front $269.00. Rear Control Arm Bushings set of 4 bushings $50
    Great addition to option 3

Rear sway bar kit extra, & panhard bar is easier & cheaper to replace than mod. $approx $100.

FYI: This is what your Stock LCA bushings look like!

    Weak, Flimsy rubber!

Save yourself some big bucks! Do you have access to a lift? If so, do it yourself! Not hard to do at all. I rented a drive on lift stall for $5 per hour. Free use of tools. Cost me $12, one brused knuckle, and several choice words of color! 2 1/2 hrs. including clean-up . . done!

i'm not at all a tech when it comes to cars-we can talk shop all day, i get when i have a tool inhand-pros are gonna install this shit for me.

I'm really considering option 3-gives me some superior upgrades and leaves room to lower it later on without any intermittent problems.

i'm gonna get the tubular ones from BMR i think, b/c they are suggested for people with lowering setups-i'd like to drop the car abotu 1.25" sooner or later. [i know, their are better ones out there]

I'm aware of the stock LCA's. mine aren't stock-they are monsters that were fabricated by a local guy. They are sick as hell: They aren't adjustable, hence the need for LCA relocators if i drop it too much.

Hell but then its still not lowered and still no more mods. Hell shocks wear out why not get all the mods for the same money and later upgrade to Konis if you really want them.

Maybe I should have elaborated a bit. . A Damn good set of "Affordable Shocks" Maybe a good set of KYB's. Have lots-o-dough left for some of those other suspension toys.

Have had my KYB Gas-Adjusts on my 3rd Gen since 1996, still strong!

    option 3.
And teh car can be lowered 3/4" with those shocks since there are 2 perch locations.
It'll give you the best confort and handling of the 3 setups by far.

I agree I have the Eiback Pro kit with KYB AGX's and i love it. I have the double adj panhard, sfc's lower control arms and relocation brackets I love my setup and only have about $1000 in my setup and it was all new when purchased. THat is my discounts but still I would say it could all be bought for about $1200 with the right shopping and hunting.
