Suspension is a great mod to start with.
Just decide what you want and go with it. Drag racing or autocross like said above.
let me know if we can help out. I have all the brands and have Free shipping.
you can call me if you want to get some info on what will help out with the direction you decide to go.
thanks,

I have all UMI stuff on our car and have been very pleased with the quality and fit. I especially like their 2 point SFC's. The only issue I have had is after going with an aftermarket rear and drive shaft I created some clearance issues for my tunnel mount torque arm, but not really a big deal to solve.

oh wow ok guys thanks, ummmm honestly i want the car to handle well...its not exactly my dd but it is my weekend toy...i dont want it to be a straight drag car either...mainly drag just cruising around on the weekends to see who has balls enough to rev me up. id like bolt on subfames and what about the rear and front suspension....any brands name shocks or springs that stand out?

For street manners, the best combination you can get for shocks and lowering springs are Koni shocks and Strano springs. The second best shock is Bilstein.
If you plan on lowering the car, you will need one of the above two mentioned shocks to replace the OEM ones...unless you wanna feel like you're ass is getting raped every time you hit a bump
You can go with either 2 pt. or 3 pt. SFCs. I have the BMR 2 pt. box style weld-in and they tuck up really nice. Like others have said, the UMI brand is top notch also.Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

I have the Strano/Koni spring and shock combo with Strano Hollow swaybars. The car handles like a slot car, has a firm ride but it's not harsh.

I would suggest shocks first. If you plan on lowering the car in the future I would recommend Koni's. Best shock for our cars when lowered. They're adj and have the valving you need once lowered. If you're going to be replacing the shocks, at this point, you need to decide if you plan on lowering. With the front suspension being disassembled that's the time to throw on a good set of springs. Remember shocks/springs must work well together just like a good h/c package. The supporting mods if lowering would be an on car adj phb and lca relo brackets.
Next would be larger sway bars.
If you don't plan on lowering Bilsteins or even Eldebrocks IAS are good all around shocks then add the sway bars. If you want the car a little tighter at this point add the sfc and or lca's.
