Red- 1998 Firebird T/A WS6
98 WS6, recommended springs/shocks....
hey guys, i'm wanting to give my WS6 alittle more stance and improve the highspeed handling a bit better, but i dont want to drop it a ton because its my DD.
Is there any recomended spring/shock combos for droping the front maybe at max 1" and the back either stock height or 1/2".
Like i said i'm not looking for anything radical and i often have atleast my wife in the car. I tend to be a little hard on the acceleration in town, so i'd like to leave the pavement on the road and the metal on the bottom of my car.
Thanks!
Casey

Heater hose mod for the rear springs.
Get Koni SA shocks for the front and use the lower spring perch.
Would be a HUGE handling improvement and lower the car roughly a half an inch.

Awsome!.. i'll have to look for this heater hose mod..
What about rear shocks?
i've got 104k on the car.. so i figure its probably a good time to change all 4 when i do it. SA for the back? or is there a better setup with stock springs

Koni all around for sure.
I used the 3rd gen rear shocks for my car.
The 4th gens have 1-9 for settings, and the 3rd gens have a total of 4 settings. 3rd gens have to be off the car to adjust as well.

cool thanks.. i'll add that to my list.. i think i'm going to start with some cheep simple stuff like subframe connectors and a strut tower brace. I havent done much to the car other than complete exhaust change cold air, couple simple mods and change out a transmission and rear end rebuild.. So i have plenty of possibilities to start playing with.
