97 firbird eibach springs fit 01?

Going to look at some springs I found a good deal on. It's just the 2 rear lowering eibach springs a guy pulled off a 97 bird. Will they fit my 01 ws6?

They should. These suspensions changed little from the introduction of the 3rd gen in 1982. The rear is close to the same, the front may be a bit different. But the 4th gen itself is almost exactly the same. Springs should be interchangeable.

I would be leary of buying only two as I don't think it is easy/possible to buy a front set only to match. If you are getting a super good deal on it, then I would go for it. Black springs are their Prokit version, red would be their Sportline version. Sportline is firmer and lower. Prokit is an inch lower and like stock. There should be part #s painted on the coils to verify too.

It was 50 dollars for the 2.used. and they were black eibach with 100671 and 3670.002 numbers on them. I tried looking it up on summit and a few other sites and they were showing the eibach kits went from 93 to 97 and 98 to 02 so I'm kinda leary on getting them. Seems like a good deal but not good enough to jump hard on it I think

If it was a full set for $100 I would probably do it and try, but since it is only a rear set I would pass and order new so you know what you are getting is guaranteed for your car. I would also consider the Strano springs also. Nice stance and comfortably firm ride.
