    95 T/A steering Column Question

I traded for a 95 T/A Lt1 and the steering wheel is very loose, Moves up and down 3-4 inches every way, SO I took it apart and it looks like the bearing is bad around the shaft, But I called the part stores and I am unable to find a bearing, Does anyone know if they make a replacement bearing or if its fixable?

I don't really wanna buy a new steering column, But if I can't fix this one, Guess I have no choice.

Sounds like the 'rag joint eliminator' is what you need to stiffen up of steering column.

    It's a GM dealer item.

You have to buy the whole steering colum rebuild kit. It's the same kit for cars built the last 30 years. Cost is about $50
