77 camaro need better ride.

I have a 77 Camaro that have a 383 in it the car runs great but the ride is ruff. what can I do to improve on the ride, everything under the car is stock but new need help with ruff ride.

Did you install the suspension components yourself? Reason for asking is to check if you final tightened the suspension bolts with weight on the wheels instead of at full droop, a common oversight that causes a preload on the rubber bushings in the control arms and leaf springs. Also, what shocks are you running, that's a big factor in ride, moreso than springs. How are the subframe mounts? Did you install new rubber ones or did you go with solids? My 78 Firebird is lowered with Pro Touring F-Body comp suspension system with no name chinese adjustable shocks (supplied with the kit 5 years ago), subframe connectors and solid body mounts. The ride isn't bad, only the harshest of bumps make me wince, and it's pretty tight feeling the rest of the time.
