LS7 ftw, feels just like stock but can handle much more abuse. I really like mine, I've beat on it pretty good and it still feels like new!

Centerforce DFX. Not the 11.5" version, the 12" version. I am making 480 rwhp, have made multiple strip runs, and I beat on it daily. I also have alot of miles on it. IT has not gone up in smoke ever and it drives exactly like stock. A new or different flywheel is not required, although you must have a machine shop zero balance it and machine it since you will be using a larger clutch.
Don't pay attention to the bad rap you hear about these clutches, as they all were refering to the 11.5" version.

I don't see how anyone can comment on which clutch you should get considering you have not listed any vital information as to what your plans are for your car....
How much power do you plan on having?
Is this a street car only? Will you be drag racing it often?

LS7 handles my power fine (+450rwhp), no chatter and good engagement. Great street/strip clutch.

Just curious, does the LS7 hold high RPM clutch dumps at 450-500rwhp? By high, I mean 5500-6000.

I don't have the tires nor the rear end to do that anyways. He stated for DD purposes...not too many street launches at 5k.

exactly is a DD drives plus why would you want to dump your clutch at 5kk or 6kk do you want to fuck up your rear end?? trany?? engine?? etc... all that stress you putt on it cant be good. im good launching my car at 2,500 rpm just the rite amount off wheel spin and still get you pass the 1/4 mile in good time

You can have 500+ HP and have it be a daily driver.
DD does NOT mean keeping it stock, nor does it mean not taking it to the track and having fun with it...
If weather permitted and I had time, I would drive mine daily.
I have a 9" rear and I am someone who will make 5-6K clutch dumps when I take it to the track...because when I go to the track, like anyone else out there for that matter, I want to get the best possible time I can out of my car.
Feathering the clutch out at 2500 RPM and spinning the tires getting a shitty 60' time will not allow me to do that. Will it?

^^^^^ true
Granted I'm only boltons, I've made well over a 100 passes on my setup and have never had any issues, should be fine unless you plan on making big power

true but i don't really want to break my rear axle just yet don't get me wrong i drive the hell out off my z28 and have been down the the Dallas area track several times made good passes (mid13) i found out in my car that high rpm dumps make my z28 not hook up at all instead i spin all three gears i personaly like 2,500rpm dumps..it still gets me were i need to go hella fast lol but back on the subject im looking for a good DD clutch as state so i mite go with the ls7 clutch

The LS7 clutch what, $400-$450 with the flywheel?
The Centerforce is the same price and holds more power and will last longer.
This is a given.
