What kind of Hurst Shifter do I have
Guys,
I need a little help. I bought a used hurst shifter (no stick or knob). I'm in the process of installing it and am debating going with some type of short stick, but in looking at the options like a Lou's Short Stick there are differences in the stick models depending on the type of hurst shifter you have. I'm not sure if the shifter I got was a factory hurst from GM or is its an aftermarket model.
Any thoughts, are there some short sticks that it doesn't matter for? Any help would be awesome...
Thanks!

Post up a pic if you can. It may help with identifying it. Any numbers on it?

Alright I took some pictures of the install. The shifter does not have any markings or numnbers on it and I'm currently using the stick stick on the shifter.2011-12-04 14.12.43.jpg2011-12-04 14.12.54.jpg2011-12-04 14.13.17.jpg

Appears to be a billet plus but something doesn't look just right. I don't recall mine being flat on both sides. I thought mine had a grooved tooth pattern to lock the stick onto the shifter.

looks stock. the hurst billet shifter uses star heads to hold the shifter in. I just put one in my car. And it has Hurst on the plate.

Here are some pictures of a Billet Plus Shifter stick:
I believe the previous poster is correct. Yours is not aftermarket it's probably the Factory designed Hurst.

OP, if I can find my original LSS, I can sell it to you for half the price of a new one + shipping. Let me see if I can find that thing.
